Receiving Fresh Fire From Above

Sunday, September 5, 2010
A wise believer does not rely on yesterday's victory to fight today's battles, but seek the Lord daily for frest fire to complete his/her daily task.  "An there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each one of them."  The Church was born by fire on the day of Pentecost, and every Christian must receive the baptism of fire if he/she plans to accomplish God's desires for their lives.  This fire serves as a sign of divine approval from God that it is He who has called you to a great work.  Remember Jeremiah 20:9, he said it was life fire (the power of God), shut up in his bones.  We need this fire daily if we plan to do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthen us, Phil. 4:13.
To often we want to minister to others and we ourselves are in need of a word, deliverance, healing, and a blessing from the Lord.  My prayer today is that God will clean all the soiled parts belonging to the body of Christ; refresh us in every area of our lives; heal every wound; re-align every bended and out of order area; kindle in us the fire to walk, talk, live, and move right.  I pray for increase daily in our finances, good health, family, ministry, and those whom God send our way to be able to see their need and provide.
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ who is Lord, we pray that you make us a channel of blessings to bring about hope, joy, peace, and help to all those who we come in contact with as the Holy Spirit directs our path and guides our hearts, Amen!
