Obama vows quick rescue of Chibok Girls, says, ‘we can’t forget them’

US President Barack Obama AFP PHOTO ABUJA: United States President, Barak Obama Thursday evening in Abuja pledged greater commitment towards the rescue of the abducted 219 Chibok Girls, saying “the US will never give up on Chibok girls”. This was even as he stated that with increased partnership with other international and regional allies, he would also support efforts to rescue other victims of the sect. According to him, there has been renewed cooperation, coordination, information gathering and sharing among key allies in the war against Boko Haram, a development he said would translate to an eventual rescue of the girls.
