The Edo APC crises thicken, Oshiomhole accuses Odubu of assassination plot, petitions EFCC.

The cold war between Edo State governor Adams Oshiomhole and his erstwhile loyal deputy, Pius Odubu has assumed a new frightening dimension as Oshiomhole has publicly accused Odubu of plotting to assassinate him using diabolical means so that he would become governor and undo all what Oshiomhole has done. Oshiomhole also accused Odubu of disloyalty by his authorising his campaign coordinator, Barr Humphrey Uanseoje, to co-sign the petition to APC National Secretariat accusing the APC in Edo State of plot to collaborate with Oshiomhole to doctor the delegates list for the gubernatorial primary election, which Urhokpota Reporters was the first to publish.

An apparently shocked Odubu denied all the allegations and offered to swear by Juju (although he is officially a Catholic) to prove his innocence.

Oshiomhole’s shocking allegations against his erstwhile loyal deputy were made on Monday April 11, 2016 during the reconciliation meeting between Oshiomhole and Odubu to resolve their over seven months old cold war, which was organized by a reconciliation committee led by Commissioner for Works and formerly Oshiomhole’s favourite Gubernatorial aspirant, Barr Osarodion Ogie.
