Nigerian Drug Dealer, Lekan Sentenced To Jail In London
The Essex Police in the UK reports that a Nigerian man, Lekan Awosika, has been jailed for drug dealing. 25-year-old Awosika was arrested on November 27, 2015, after police busted his home in Central Park Road, East Ham, and found 79 wraps of class A cocaine and heroin hidden under his bath.
Awosika was taken in after the police found that his bath panel had been tampered with and when they checked, they found 34 wraps of crack cocaine and 45 wraps of heroin in a plastic bag hidden behind it. But that is not his first run-in with the police. On March 25, 2015, Awosika was arrested by the officers of Operation Saturn over gun related and drug crimes.
The young Nigerian, at the time of his last arrest, had more than £300 in cash and two mobile phones. He was sentenced to six and a half years in prison on December 7 by a court in Chelmsford.
